Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Asktro app and services operated by Asktro Tech Private Limited ("Asktro", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Asktro, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and able to form a binding contract. By using Asktro you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. The service

Asktro connects you with astrologers for paid consultations by chat, voice and video, offers AI-astrologer personas, and operates "Asktro Mall", a store for physical spiritual products. Astrologers are independent providers; Asktro facilitates the connection and payment.

3. Nature of astrology content — important disclaimer

Astrology readings, remedies and related content are provided for guidance and entertainment purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, psychological or other qualified advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on any content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asktro and its astrologers make no warranty as to the accuracy or outcome of any reading.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information (including birth details used to compute readings). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.

5. Payments, wallet & pricing

• Consultations are charged per minute at the rate shown before you start; the meter runs for the duration of the session and is debited from your Asktro wallet.
• You add funds to your wallet via our payment processor (Razorpay). Applicable taxes may apply.
• Prices, offers and bonus credits may change; the price shown at the time of a transaction applies to that transaction.
• Bonus/promotional credit is non-withdrawable and may carry conditions.

6. Refunds & cancellations

• Consultations: charges for time already consumed are generally non-refundable. If a session is disrupted by a genuine technical fault on our side, contact support and we may credit the affected amount at our reasonable discretion.
• Wallet balance: unused wallet balance may be refundable subject to verification and applicable law; contact support.
• Asktro Mall (physical goods): returns/refunds follow the store policy shown at checkout and applicable consumer law.

7. User conduct & content

You agree not to misuse the service, harass astrologers or other users, share unlawful or objectionable content, or attempt to defraud the platform. You may report or block users; we may remove content and suspend accounts. Objectionable behaviour has zero tolerance.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its content and branding are owned by Asktro or its licensors. You may not copy, resell or exploit them without permission. You retain rights to content you submit, granting us a licence to use it to operate the service.

9. Third-party services

We rely on third parties (e.g. Razorpay for payments, Agora for calls, Google/Firebase, and AI providers). Your use may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asktro is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on astrology content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 90 days before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using Asktro and delete your account at any time (see Account Deletion). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or the law.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh shall have jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in the app or here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
